Approach:

Through the lens of developmental, I treat anxiety, depression, adjustment, identity, relationship issues, and offer parent counseling.  My approach to therapy is collaborative and is influenced by person-centered, humanistic, attachment, and developmental theories. While CBT is the central modality, I take a whole-person approach as we focus on specific goals and move towards well-being. The therapeutic relationship we develop is the key to the process. I firmly believe that empathy, acceptance, and openness are fundamental to understanding the uniqueness of each person.
